A leader in developing wellbore navigation technology known for its extreme precision, Gyrodata selected E.E. Reed to construct a headquarters unlike any the company had ever called home. Measuring in at 155,000 SF, the new Gyrodata facility in Northwest Houston houses the company’s offices, manufacturing, and warehousing operations. The tilt-wall structure is comprised of a two-level, 80,000 SF office space, accented by wood paneling, stone cladding, a custom reception desk, multiple conference rooms, breakrooms, and an electronic laboratory. The complex’s 75,000 SF manufacturing facility/warehouse features a 20-ton overhead-bridge crane. The 30,000 SF, 24-foot-clear-height clean storage building also contains an overhead-bridge crane. The project includes a 45,000 SF parking structure, new chilled water system and related plumbing/pneumatic and electrical system.
